Squash, Winter – Red Kuri
This thin-skinned orange squash looks like a small pumpkin without the ridges. The skin is edible, and its firm creamy yellow flesh has a very delicate and mellow flavour similar to that of cooked chestnuts. The word “kuri” is Japanese for chestnut.

Delicious pie pumpkin with a frosted netted appearance and smooth flesh. Grows lovely 2.7-kg (6-lb) golden fruits that are perfect for pies.

Melon – Petit Gris de Renne
Dense 1-kg (2-lb) fruit has bright orange flesh that is sweet, juicy, perfumed and full of flavour. Recognized by its thin dark green skin that is striped in lighter shades of green and speckled in light yellow. An early variety that is well adapted to cool climates.

Parsley – Curly
A crinkled leaved traditional parsley. Strong, short stems support big clusters of highly curled dark-green leaves. Great non-bitter flavour for pasta or potato dishes, chopped in salads and soups or as a beautiful garnish. Curly dark leaves mounted upon sturdy stems bring you a delicate flavour that is perfect for use in recipes requiring large quantities of parsley.

Parsley – Flat Italian
Featuring broad, serrated leaves, Italian flat leaf has a more pungent flavour than other varieties of parsley. It is easy to grow and can be used in a variety of recipes. Reaches up to 45 cm (18″).

Capucine Dwarf Jewel Nasturtium
An abundance of colourful flowers atop pretty green leaves. The whole plant is edible: the stems, leaves, flowers, and seed pods. The flowers add an exotic flourish to summer dishes, the leaves and stems pack a peppery punch. Mildly spicy, these edible double blooms display light yellow, orange and deep red petals. The charming foliage resembles tiny lily pads. Lovely in beds and containers.

Squash, Winter – Acorn Sweet REBA
Resistant Early Bush Acorn (REBA) produces five to six, uniform, ½-1 kg (1-2 lb), dark green, acorn-type fruit on each compact plant. They have a classic acorn squash flavour and texture but are noticeably sweeter. A good storage variety. Resistance to powdery mildew.

Melon – Blacktail Watermelon
Our best melon for short, cool seasons with crisp, sweet flesh. Solid dark green rind and orange-red flesh. Fruit averages 20 cm (8″) across. Vines reach 3 m (10′). Excellent keeping quality and yields. Harvest just before ripe and melons will finish off in storage. 2.7-4.5 kg (6-10 lb).
