Black Cumin (Nigella sativa)

$4.50

In addition to black cumin, nigella sativa is known by many different names: black seed, black caraway, fennel flower, nutmeg flower, Roman coriander, devil in a bush and love in a mist!  The seeds taste like a combination of onions, black pepper, and oregano.  They can be used as a spice for Indian, Middle Eastern and Polish cuisines, or dry-roasted to flavour curries, vegetables, and pulses. Dating back to ancient times (found in Tutankhamun’s tomb, for example), these seeds are a historical condiment.

Available only as seed.
