Himrod is one of the best seedless white (light green) table grapes. It was released in 1952 by the New York Agricultural Experiment Station in Geneva, New York for winter hardiness and northern gardens. It is seedless and known for ripening quickly and its sweet flavour. Himrod table grape is considered very productive and reliable. Highly productive vine bears crispy sweet fruit. Large handsome clusters turn golden-yellow when fully ripe. Ripens in late August. Self-pollinating.  The vigorous grape vines bear large, loose clusters of sweet, juicy fruit that ripen early and keep well.

For each vine, dig a hole 30.5 cm (12″) deep by 30.5 cm wide.

Requirements
Prefers deep, loamy, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Should be sheltered from winter winds. A south-facing slope is best.

Black rot, downy and powdery mildew, Japanese beetle, leaf hopper, mealy bugs.

Timing
Plant dormant, bare-root grape vines in the early spring.

Needs a support system, training, regular pruning.
