Cassisier Thessis

$20.00

The Jostaberry is a complex cross between the gooseberry and the black currant. The berries are excellent for eating fresh and are a good option for freezing as well. Jostaberry bushes are thornless and serve well as ornamental hedges, especially given that they produce better when planted in pairs or groups. This fruit bush was developed in Germany and as a result is extremely cold-hardy. Prefers full-sun but will tolerate part-shade. These can be grown as free-standing bushes or trained against a wall. Mulching the general root area is recommended as this will help the bush retain moisture.

These brambles are two years old and will produce fruit this year or next.
