Pea – Golden Lace

$4.00

Pre-1860 heirloom variety of snow pea. More than a novelty, this variety produces flowers that are beautiful shades of violet, from which emerge sweet, beautiful, flat pods that are great in stir fries. The pods start off a bright yellow and mature to a beautiful golden. A part of Gregor Mendel’s pea trials to work out nature’s laws of inheritance. Sweet and crunchy, best harvested early and often.  Tall 2-m (6-ft) vines. These peas like to produce early.
