Plant seeds in the garden in warm soil, or start indoors in February. Plant a few seeds in a few pots with sterilized seed starting mix. Dampen the mix, press the seeds into the surface, insert the pots into plastic bags, and put them in your freezer for 2-7 days, then let them come to room temperature on their own.
Clip faded blooms to encourage continued blooming throughout the warm season. Prune option in the spring after the lavender has signs of new growth or in the fall around early October. Prune 1/3 of the plant or about 5 cm (2″) above the wood.
