Urban Seedling is a family-owned and family-operated business. We believe that locally grown food is something that can be enjoyed by everyone, contributing to a healthy lifestyle and a sustainable community. We install organic vegetable gardens in schools, day cares, at the workplace or in the home. We have the first (on-island!) greenhouse and store completely dedicated to edibles.
Volunteering
Are you looking for opportunities to get your hands dirty and learn more about growing your own food? The greenhouse opportunities involve help with transplanting, fertilizing and pest management as well as general help around our gardens, greenhouse and garden center.

Current Opportunities
Dress according to the weather in comfy layers that can get dirty, expect to encounter temperatures between 3 and 33 degrees celsius. Bring gloves if you would like to use them.
