Be a part of the Urban Seedling team

Urban Seedling is a family-owned and family-operated business. We believe that locally grown food is something that can be enjoyed by everyone, contributing to a healthy lifestyle and a sustainable community.  We install organic vegetable gardens in schools, day cares, at the workplace or in the home. We have the first (on-island!) greenhouse and store completely dedicated to edibles.

Volunteering

Are you looking for opportunities to get your hands dirty and learn more about growing your own food? New this year, we are launching Volunteering Saturdays during the Grand Potager Urban Agriculture month of May.  The greenhouse opportunities involve help with transplanting, fertilizing and pest management as well as general help around our gardens, greenhouse and garden center.

A day of volunteering at Urban Seedling allows you to meet new people and get your hands in the dirt. We start out the day with a mini workshop to cover some basic transplanting and seeding techniques.

If you are interested in learning more about organic production of seedling and would like to attend a day of volunteering at Urban Seedling, fill out the form below.
