Botrytis (grey mold),downy mildew, fungi diseases, verticillium wilt and root rot may affect strawflowers. Practice crop rotation and water in the morning. Leafhoppers and slugs can also be problems.
Easy to grow in most soil types.
Harvest young blossoms to dry when they are only 2-3 layers of petals have unfurled.
