Asparagus – Guelph Eclipse

This hybrid was originally bred in Canada, at the University of Guelph and produces high yields of medium to large asparagus, even in the first years after planting. It is similar to the Jersey Giant variety, both in taste and size. Asparagus plants are perennial and can continue to produce for up to 20 years! Each crown is composed of a central group of stems surrounded by dangling, finger-like roots.
