Galangal root


From the ginger family, ”Alpinia Officinarum” has a peppery taste and a subtle aroma of pine. Used commonly in Europe and Asia to relieve nausea, flatulence, dyspepsia, rheumatism, catarrh and enteritis. Galangal root can be eaten fresh or cooked and is seen in many Chinese, Indonesian, Malaysian, and Thai dishes.
