Encarsia formosa, is a whitefly (Trialeurodes vaporariorum and Bemisia spp.) parasite. Very effective as a preventive. Can tolerate certain pesticides. Sold in packs of 10 cards, with 1000 pupae on a card.

ENCARSIA FORMOSA
(Parasite)
Small (1 mm) black and yellow wasp that lays its eggs inside whitefly scale (egg/nymph). The whitefly scale becomes blackened when parasitized. Encarsia is attracted to the smell of honeydew made by the whiteflies. Encarsia feeds and parasites greenhouse, silver leaf and sweet potato whiteflies.
