White African eggplant is among the 5 most consumed vegetables in West and Central Africa. This eggplant variety is also cultivated in South America and the Caribbean. The small size of the plant (40 to 110 cm) and its rapid cycle producing eggplants as big as a tennis balls make it an ideal candidate for urban agriculture on balconies and small spaces. If you want to keep your plant for several years, you can bring it indoors before the first frosts.
